Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our heritage footwear.
How do I determine my correct size for Truman boots?
Most customers find that sizing down a half size from their standard Brannock device measurement provides the best fit. We recommend consulting our detailed sizing guide before purchase.
What is the typical lead time for made-to-order boots?
Our made-to-order boots are handcrafted in small batches. Production typically takes between 8 to 12 weeks depending on leather availability and current workshop volume.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we ship worldwide via DHL Express. Please note that international customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, and customs fees incurred by their local government.
Can Truman boots be resoled?
Absolutely. All our boots utilize stitchdown or Goodyear welt construction, which allows them to be resoled multiple times by a professional cobbler, extending the life of the footwear for years.
What is your return policy for stock items?
Unworn and unaltered stock items can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Please note that a restocking fee may apply, and custom or final sale items are not eligible for return.
How should I care for the leather on my boots?
We recommend using a natural leather conditioner every 3-6 months and using cedar shoe trees daily to maintain shape and absorb moisture. Specific care depends on the leather type, such as waxed flesh or pull-up.
